Uganda July

Greetings in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I arrived back from the Uganda mission on Wednesday fully fit if a bit weary after 5 weeks of amazing ministry. On this trip I was blessed to have Jo with me for the first 10 days then sadly she had to return to London to continue with her work. It was an absolute pleasure to have Bishop David Maindi, a mighty man of God, with me for the entire 5 weeks of ministry, what amazing fellowship we had together!!
The ministry was very diverse as we ministered in churches, at crusades, planted home churches, spoke at a minister's fraternal and prayed for many sick people.
The first meeting was in Ps. James's Mukisa church in Kampala. After the preaching of the Word the whole church came forward repenting, many came forward and recommitted their lives to the Lord and we prayed for many sick folk.
The next stop was in the Lakai district for a 2 day crusade and church meetings. This is a 7 hour drive from Kampala deep in the rural area. The presence of Islam was very prominent and we were not really welcome. The accommodation was very difficult as there were 9 of us sleeping in a 2 ½ roomed hut with no bathroom or toilet.
We were in a very heavy spiritual battle as we soon found out. We were taken from one meeting to another on the back of a motorbike when the driver hit a pothole and he went over the handlebars. Bishop David flew off right and I was thrown left down a hill into a river. He ran down and pulled me out. My right wrist was dislocated, he immediately pulled it back in to place with a loud crack. My back was very painful for several days. Thankfully David was uninjured. The evening crusades in the market square went ahead as planned, the first meeting 30 folk received the Lord and we prayed for many sick folk - malaria is a big problem in Uganda.
The second meeting we had a major breakthrough as many young men and women came forward, about 70 and once again prayed for the sick and needs. On the Saturday morning before we left we had a healing meeting in the small local church, over 50 sick folk attended but sadly our pastors and local leaders did not even bother to show up. It showed me once again just who the real church is.
We then started with the vision the Lord gave me last year and that is getting back into home church - Acts 2:42-47. We ministered with great success around Kampala working with Ps. Sam, Ps. Julius and later with Ps. Moses in Matuga - Katta. Many were added daily to the church. We worked very much in the miraculous. As there were so many miracles, far too many to record, this is some of the feedback we received.
We prayed over Bishop David's wife, Catherine, who suffered from thyroid, blood pressure & heart palpitations. We laid hands on her, Mark 16:18, she fell to the floor coughing, then started to bring up blood - lots of it. On her return to Busia Kenya she went for a check-up. The doctors are astounded as there are no symptoms left at all so much so she has been taken off all medication. Another case of a women suffering with severe eczema / psoriasis after praying for her skin returned to normal. Lastly in Ps. Julius's church I had a leaders meeting on Saturday night. The following morning on opening his church he said that there was a very powerful anointing in the building so he did not preach, the church just worshiped. A blind man sitting in the back of the church started crying out that he could see, completely healed.
We, as the team, had the honour of ministering in the church of Ps. Sam, Ps. Julius, Ps. Tony and Ps. Nelson during which many signs, miracles and wonders occurred.
We finished the ministry with Ps. Moses in Matuga 3 hours north of Kampala. I was ill with a serious bacterial infection but by God's grace I managed to walk the 22 km preaching the Lord Jesus. The area is heavy in witchcraft and religion, it was hard going as we suffered a lot of abuse from drunkards and Muslims but despite that we reaped a rich harvest including 2 Muslim men. I found a lot of people wanted prayer for blessings but did not want to receive the Lord Jesus. One of my team asked a lady in whose name do you want Ps. Buchan to pray for you if you don't want the Lord Jesus in your life? We just kicked the dust off our shoes and moved on.
There is so much more to share but impossible to write it all down.
We really appreciate the support and prayers as we did the work of the Lord Jesus.
My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Fergus, David & team.
