ACTS 1:8
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
ACTS :42
"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, the breaking of bread, and in prayers."
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have returned from a wonderful time with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ from Kitale, Kenya.
Although I was based in Kitale I had the privilege of working in Mount Elgon as well, returning after 3 years and so encouraged to see the fruit of previous time spent there. The church is thriving and growing!!
I was also invited by Bishop Buis to the Aruba region.
The heart of our mission is always to spread the word, to reach the lost and to heal the sick.
The second reason for this outreach was to encourage the church. It is very difficult because of circumstances and distances for many in the rural areas to come to a central church. We therefore went out in to the villages, ministering in homes, under trees and in very small communities, encouraging the home cell groups. This was received extremely positively reaching many unreached, introducing the word of God, according to the early church in the book of Acts.
Working once again with Bishop Fredrick Wafula, who is my faithful interpreter, dear friend and a mighty man of God, is such a privilege and encouragement to me.
Together we had hundreds of salvations and every person prayed for was healed in the name of Jesus. So many suffering with 'dry season' malaria. With your obedience in praying with me for their healing this was manifested. You were not with me physically but in Spirit and in prayer much was accomplished.
Thank you for your prayer and support which always makes this possible.
