Greetings to you all in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1:2

We have just returned from our first mission this year. What a great success in the name of the Lord Jesus. It was great having Owen Sutherland come with me on his first mission trip, what a great help and comfort he was to me; I believe we have another Scottish missionary ready to work in Africa. We spent 10 days in north-western Kenya visiting Kitale, Mt Elgon, Bungoma, and West Pokot. Many were born again, many existing Christians repented and recommitted to the Lord.  Pastors and bishops were ministered to, turning away from man-made traditions to Christ and His teachings. We prayed for many sick people, and also heard some testimonies from the sick that were prayed for the year prior.

Some of the highlights worth mentioning include a gathering of approximately 350 people who stood for Jesus, who either recommitted to Christ or committed for the first time at a bishop’s ordination.  In West Pokot, after ministering to a church, one man approached us with a compound fracture to his arm caused by an accident. We prayed over him and one of the bystanders mentioned he needs to get to a clinic, before we could offer assistance to meet this need, he turned and said “no, the prayer is enough” and walked away… what faith.

After ministering at a gathering of pastors, from nearly all denominations, they asked for hands to be laid on them for a greater anointing to preach the Gospel in its entirety after receiving the message the Lord asked me to bring to them. The message was to preach the gospel without compromising the word of God.

At one church the message brought the entire congregation to repentance. We could feel the burden of sin being lifted, many were set free.

We also visited some home churches, all alive and well, still serving the Lord. They were happy to welcome us as we encouraged them with the word of God to make a difference in their areas.
Owen made friends with one of the caddies and mentioned that I am a golf professional. All the caddies wanted to meet with me. A meeting was arranged and after Owen introduced me, I brought a short, simple message which resulted in 14 caddies giving their lives to Jesus, praise the Lord.

During the 10 days of varied ministry, we had a range from 2 people standing for the Lord to 350 people standing

I would like to take this opportunity in thanking all that have prayed and supported us to make this mission so successful.
Yours in Christ

Fergus and Joanne
